The primary sources collected for both this digital project and written thesis were compiled from published volumes of Jack Kerouac’s correspondence with close confidants, personal journals, and other writings. Other primary sources included are various critical reviews of Jack Kerouac’s 1958 novel The Dharma Bums ranging from the Saturday Review to the Chicago Review.
