\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Joseph Esparza created this site in partial fulfillment of the requirements for a Master of Arts degree in History at California State University San Marcos in Spring 2022.\u00a0 Joseph is entering a PhD program in Environmental History at Montana State University in Fall 2022. There, he plans to research the intellectual and cultural history of American Mountain landscapes. His wider historical interests include American environmental history, the history of ideas, environmental thought, and the history of mountains.<\/p>\n
