About

This website is dedicated to the history of Asian immigrants in Escondido, California. Through statistical research and old photographs, visitors will understand the historical impact that Asian immigrants left on Escondido’s history and modern infrastructure. Immigrants from China, Japan, and the Philippines each left their own mark on Escondido throughout the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, and this website provides historical insight on how their contributions served the local community.
