Herbert Sig\u00fcenza was born in San Francisco, CA. He went to live in his early years in El Salvador. His family and he came back to San Francisco. The arts soon called him and that is where he found his passion. Without a doubt, he could design great works of art. This is how he became known in art. His art became widely seen in the Mission District. It caught the eye of Rene Ya\u00f1ez who eventually asked Sig\u00fcenza to join Culture Clash or Comedy Fiesta as it was initially known as. As with the other members their first performance together was on Cinco De Mayo of 1984. Herbert brought his own unique style to the group. He had an eye for design and often storyboarded the skits or stages that would be later used. He has branched out and done individual projects. He has done a one-man show of Pablo Picasso and worked with the SD Rep to create short videos highlighting different Latino Cultures. The work that may be the most known is the role of the Pixar film <\/span>Coco<\/span><\/i>. The role of Tio Oscar and Felipe were played by Sig\u00fcenza and he advised as well. The diversity of his work reflects the diversity that he represents as a Chicano.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t
