As with the other members their first performance together was on Cinco De Mayo of 1984. Herbert brought his own unique style to the group. He had an eye for design and often storyboarded the skits or stages that would be later used. He has branched out and done individual projects. He has done a one-man show of Pablo Picasso and worked with the SD Rep to create short videos highlighting different Latino Cultures. The work that may be the most known is the role of the Pixar film Coco. The role of Tio Oscar and Felipe were played by Sigüenza and he advised as well. The diversity of his work reflects the diversity that he represents as a Chicano.
