Parallel Teaching
What it Looks Like
Teacher 1: Teaches half the class
Teacher 2: Teaches half the class
*Both teachers are teaching the same content
Purpose
- Differentiation of instruction
- Allows for increased student participation in discussion
- Hands on lessons that would benefit from being taught in small groups
Alternative Teaching

Teacher 1: Teaches the majority of the class
Teacher 2: Teaches a small group

Station Teaching
